The image is delicately posed with the two women holding hands, with Claudet's classic "window" background. The image is in excellent condition with original seal and Claudet's label on the obverse. It is housed in the original leather slip case with "Claudet" and the Royal Coat of Arms embossed in gilt on the exterior. The case is in excellent condition. Claudet is considered one of the early masters of Stereo Daguerreotypy. Although French by birth he practiced his art almost exclusively in London. His work is distinctive for it's high quality and superb tinting.

The image is in excellent condition with original seal intact and housed in the original slip case with "Claudet" and the Royal Coat of Arms embossed in gilt on the exterior. Claudet is considered one of the early masters of Stereo Daguerreotypy. Although French by birth he practiced his art almost exclusively in London. His work is distinctive for it's high quality and superb tinting. Fine examples of his work are highly collectable.
