Photograph of a full length, double portrait of Count Alexander Mensdorff-Pouilly-Dietrichstein (1813-71) and Alexandrine Marie, Countess of Mensdorff-Pouilly-Dietrichstein (1824-1906). The couple stand, facing the camera, and pose with their arms linked. There is a painted backdrop in the background, depicting a view of a landscape. The Count was a first cousin of Queen Victoria through the marriage of her aunt, his mother.
