Unidentified photographer 1889 [Exhibition of military items from the collection of Ernest Meissonier, Palais de la Guerre]
Albumen print Bazar Nadar / Wouter Lambrechts (Wouter Lambrechts) Ernest Meissonier had a nice collection of uniforms from the Napoleonic era. He used them as reference for his military paintings. Some rare 'sabretaches' from the 1st Empire are visible together with cuirasses, swords, a helmet, and several costumes. In many ways an interesting historical document.
