A label inside carrying the patent date of January 9th, 1874. The lens assembly tilts backwards and forwards, allowing viewing of both sides of back to back cards. It holds approximately 100 views in 50 holders stored back to back. Excellent condition. Measures 8" x 11" at the base and 15"high. Refer Wing page 126 for more information and an illustration. The viewer in the illustration is the actual viewer being offered here and was at one time in Paul Wing's collection.
