Studio portrait of Longhorn, a Sauk and Fox Chief, sitting on a chair; he has his face and chest painted, wears feathers in his hair, ear ornaments, several necklaces made from fur and dentalium shells, including a peace medal(?), a piece of cloth wrapped around his waist, leg ornaments, and holds a tomhawk decorated with fur; St Louis, United States of America.
