Photograph of the walls of the Citadel and the Chinch Diddi Mosque, Bijapur. The high stone walls are built on two levels and are partially covered by plants. The small temple has a central dome and is located on a high platform to the far right. A man is sitting to the far left of the grassland which lies to the left of the Citadel walls.

This photograph is one in a series used to illustrate a 1866 publication on the architecture of Bijapur. The city is renowned for its historical buildings.
