Lycopodium Flagellatum (Algae)

Cyanotype
Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center at the University of Texas at Austin
The title here is that provided by the Harry Ransom Center, University of Texas at Austin and relates to the nineteenth century series rather than it is actually an algae.

(Michael Guiry, Professor Emeritus of Botany at the National University of Ireland, to Alan Griffiths, pers. email, 22 July 2013)
Lycopodium is not an alga […]it is a club-moss (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lycopodium). I think that the species that is meant is Lycopodium clavatum (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lycopodium_clavatum).
