One of five sepia photographs contained in an envelope. Photographs depicting a pendulum gravity apparatus at Melbourne Observatory.
 
This image belongs to a group of photographs and schematic plans contained in a large green and black buckram folio. The material relates to the Great Melbourne Telescope and surrounding grounds. There is a label mounted on the front of the folio addressed to the Museum of Applied Science from the Melbourne Observatory, it also contains a large brown envelope with a date inscription of 28 Aug 1978.
