Photograph of the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Moscow. The church is to the right of a neo-classical building with Russian signage. It has a bell tower to the left and an onion cupola to the right. There is a road in the foreground. This is one of a series of photographs taken by Corporal J Mack during the coronation celebrations of Alexander II, Emperor of Russia. He was part of a group of British representatives led by Lord Granville.
