Photograph of a group of soldiers from the Royal Horse Artillery who served in the Anglo-Egyptian War. They are arranged in a group around two large canons. They are wearing military uniform and several are holding signalling equipment. There is a building behind with three windows with wooden shutters. The Anglo-Egyptian War of 1882 repressed the nationalist 'Urabi Revolt and led to increased British control of Egypt. This photograph was taken at Cairo.
