A loose photograph printed on silk showing a view of Victoria, British Columbia 1866. The photographs shows a river with a with small jetty type structures (?), a bridge leading to the town with various wooded and brick buildings. A church steeple and main street as well as wooded outskirts of the town are visible in the background of the photograph. The photograph is in two pieces joined together on the silk support. The photograph came with an album donated to Queen Victoria (1819-1901) in 1883 by photographer Frederick Dally (1838-1914).
