View of the spectacular interior of the Barcelona Pavilion with the free-standing stone wall of onyx doré on a wide travertine floor and the diaphanous room separators. Mies van der Rohe's spatial concept is particularly evident in this view. One recognizes the simplicity and clarity of the layout and the interaction of the exquisite materials. A rare documentation of this extremely modern, streamlined design by Mies van der Rohe. The structure was van der Rohe's first major work, which was unfortunately torn down after the exhibition.
