H.M. Cadell mountain building experiments. No 10. Using his 'squeeze box' Cadell carried out early experiments to try and explain the geometry and mechanisms of thrusting in layered rocks.

Henry Cadell was a Geological Survey of Great Britain geologist between 1883-1888. Most images are undated though they are thought to be from around 1902-1910 period.
