The label, although difficult to read indicates; "Her Majesty's Royal Letters Patent, London", circa 1870's. The concave mirror magnifies the image and gives a pseudo stereoscopic effect. The mirror has an ebony trim, the rest of the viewer is made from a rich mahogany. The base measures 15.5" X 9.5" with an extended height of approximately 14".
