Oval photograph of the 'Malik-I-Mydan' gun. The large gun is pointing right and is resting on a wooden plank and pile of rocks. There is a man leaning on the gun.
This photograph forms the vignette on the title page of a publication about the architecture of Bijapur. This gun was brought back from Ahmadnagar in the 17th century as a trophy of war and is thought to be the largest medieval cannon in the world.
