Photograph of ruins at the temple complex of Karnak: column with capital, right foreground; two men - one leans and one sits against it; to left is view through pillars and columns to an obelisk; hieroglyphics, murals and bas reliefs throughout. The photograph is annotated: 'First court : pillar of Psammeticus looking east thro' Great Court of Pillars : the Pylon was restored by Ptolemy in honour of R2'.
