The address of the tavern may be 1383 Avenue A. There is also an address for the Fredrick Bachmann Lager Bier Company at Clifton Brewery on Staten Island. This photograph appears to shows M. Dorsch's Tavern who supplied the Bachmann Beer on Avenue A.

This seems to be the firm Corliss joined possibly after the dissolution of the Corliss & Bancroft Partnership. Interesting backstamp as it also seems to be pitching another portrait branch of W.O. Long at 395 & 687 Eighth Avenue. This is the same W.O. Long that was in Partnership with G.W. Heppner under the name The National Photographic View Company at 235 East 34th Street, a stone's throw from S. Marksville's Firm.
