Contemporary Mexican photographer. He studied economics at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico and photography at the London College of Printing in England. He received his masters degree in photography at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in 1984. In 1994 he founded the Centro de la Imagen in Mexico City.
