Started his career at the age of 14. His best known work appeared in the high fashion magazines of the 50s and 60s including Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, LIFE and Look. In his capacity as a fashion photographer he photographed many famous names of this period including Marilyn Monroe with whom he became close friends and partners in a film production company.
Greene won many awards in his lifetime and much of his work is represented in major museums around the world.
