Photographer based in Pembrokeshire in Wales. He is best known for his ongoing extensive study of a single beach in Pembrokeshire - Poppit Sands. After studying landscape painting he began photographing Poppit Sands in 2007.
He has said of his work - "All my individual projects feed from each other in numerous ways. My main interest is the continual study of Poppit Sands - it is the base of all my work, be it obvious or not. Everything that I do somehow comes down to discoveries found on this location. It is the core of all my work and over the last eight years has drilled itself into the core of my life. I am learning that everything changes, nothing stays the same. As we exist in this whirlwind it is comforting to have a solid base to hold on to. "
He has been a Hasselblad Masters Award Finalist for three consecutive years and in 2013 his work at Poppit Sands won the Chris Beetles Award in London.
