Czech school teacher, painter, poet, journalist, designer, critic and photographer and founder of the "Linie group" of avant-garde multimedia artists based and active in the rural town of Eeske Budijovice from 1931 until 1939. The Linie Group was largely unknown until 2004 when there was an exhibition of their design, film, music, architecture and photography at the Obecni Dum (Municipal House) in Prague.
