Twin brother of photographer Louis John Daroux (1870-1948). He had a studio at 45 Vivian Street, Wellington, New Zealand from 1905. His photographs of the 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake are in the collections at the Alexander Turnbull Library, Wellington, New Zealand.
