An architect, graphic artist, visionary and Daguerreotypist who provided material for the publication of Noël Marie Paymal Lerebours "Excursions daguerriennes : vues et monuments les plus remarquables du globe" (1841-1842). In the 1850s he proposed designs for a Channel Tunnel to carry trains between France and England.
