A family run photographic business in Bangalore, india, that has its origins with the photo-enthusiast Srinivas Mahadeo Welling in the 1850s and through his son Govind Srinivas who established the "Welling Camera Works" in Belgaum which was both a manufacturer of cameras and enlargers as well as a photo store. The Bangalore store opened in 1903 and was called "S. Mahadeo and Sons" and was called that under Govind's son Gajanan Govind Welling, better known as G.G. Welling, took over the business. It continues in the same family.
