Lived in Nom, Alaska where her documented native populations and the aftermath of the gold rush of 1900. Some of his photographs were published by Portland Post Card Company. Official photographer for the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition that took place in Seattle in 1909. He documented all phases of the exhibition from its construction, landscaping, the workmen, visitors and displays.
