Amateur photographer and author of typewriting manuals. He was a fellow of the Royal Photographic Society (England) and secetary of the shortlived Society of Colour Photographers. A collection of 700 autochromes and 200 paget colour plates is in private hands. Approximately 160 of the pictures have been scanned by the London Science Museum and will be made available on scienceandsociety.co.uk.
