One of the first women photographers in Eastern Russia and the Far East. She had a photographic studio in Blagoveshchensk and one in Nikolsk-Ussuriysk. She photographed at the gold mines in Amur, Sakhalin and on the Ussuri railway. In the early 20th century she went as photographer on the ethnographic expedition of the Academy of Sciences to China.
