Belgian daguerreotypist who continued on to making carte de visite. He was associated with PF van Malderen during his early carrer. He was active from 1842-1861 in Liège (Belgium) with a branch in Maastricht in 1861. From 1863 until 1865 he was in Roubaix , France. Noted for his post-mortem portraits.
