Piece of folk art commemorating the death of a father. Reverse painting on glass with hand-applied silver leaf and other painted embellishments including flowers and curlicues, with a sixth-plate tintype set in to an oval cut-out at the lower edge.
 
This object was featured in an exhibition at the Southeast Museum of Photography in Daytona Beach, Florida. Secure the Shadow: Death and Photography in America, 102.
