This was possibly taken at the nearby fishing village of Newhaven, which provided ample subject matter for Hill & Adamson. Their un-published volume on this series has recently been brilliantly re-created by Stevenson. This negative was waxed and a paper tab was attached at the bottom. It is inscribed in pencil "D2" and in ink "106A".
