Fock Johann, a German criminal

Photograph
Museo di Antropologia criminale Cesare Lombroso
Inventory / accession no requested.

Signal photography brings up the writing: " He tried to kill his mistress's husband by sending him an explosive bomb that killed two other individuals instead."

This picture was made by inserting a mirror on the photo set in order to reproduce the face and profile of the criminal in one shot. This method remained in use until the end of the nineteenth century.
