With Henle's Black Star credit stamp, title in pencil and other numbers on verso. Aside from its social interest this is a fine abstract composition, maybe owing something to Rodchenko. Henle's portrait of Frieda Kahlo is well known, but his other Mexican work is important and under appreciated.
