The diminutive Oakland California daredevil was a popular racer from an early age. He raced professionally for Harley-Davidson, but moved to Indian in 1920. These are 4 vintage sepia prints from his early period with Indian. They are sepia gelatin-silver prints mounted on boards. 3 are 4 ¢" x 6 ¢", one is 9 ¢" x 7 3/8". A pen notation indicates the early prints were put on these mounts in 1977. Compared to later more massive vehicles, these are frail bicycles with motors.
