Parece tratarse de la bailarina francesa Marie Guy-Stéphan, que actuó en el Teatro del Circo, en Madrid, entre los años 1843 y 1851. En España aprendió el baile bolero, y competía con las mejores bailarinas españolas.
 
It seems to be the French dancer Marie Guy-Stéphan, who performed at the Teatro del Circo in Madrid between the years 1843 and 1851. In Spain she learned bolero dancing, and competed with the best Spanish dancers.
