(Ralph Reiley, 11 January 2023) This photo was taken by Keystone photographer and salesman F. M. Carpenter. He was on board the S.S. Resolute that had been chartered by the Raymond Whitcomb tour company for one of their 1923 luxury world cruise trips. Those on the tour had the opportunity to buy a set of Keystone views taken during their round the world trip. The ship left New York, then passed through the Panama Canal. This is the last photo of the 1923 world cruise.
