A gorgeous finely tinted ยข plate in a fine full case with Mayall's gilded logo on the back. Mayall was a Philadelphia daguerreotypist who set up studios in England. This is an excellent example of Mayall's English work. There is rich coloring, depth, and an excellent pose.
