Chromium contact print Private collection of Mark Osterman (Mark Osterman, 22 January 2022) An example of a chromium contact print as was invented by Mungo Ponton in 1839. Simply a wash of potassium dichromate on paper and printed dry, then washed with water. Very permanent this example has been on my kitchen wall for twenty years with no appreciable change.
