View of Lower Ward of Windsor Castle and St George's Chapel. St George's chapel is to the left, is one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in England, particularly noted for its magnificent stone fan vaulting. To the right is the Round Tower and the lodgings of the Military Knights. Soldiers of the Queen's Guard are visible in the foreground, along with some civilians, including youngish looking boys.
