With several "Guarantee Photo Studio W. 135th St." stamps on the verso. Signed and dated "1925" by Van Der Zee in the negative. A handsome smiling portrait. The flowers at the right may have been added by Van Der Zee he loved to include flowers in his portraits and funereal studies.
