Yarbook illustration Private collection of Lee Eltzroth (Georgia Photographers Documentation Project) (Lee Eltzroth, 8 June 2020) The yearbook is called "The Oracle, 1940," and it came out of Sydney Lanier High School, Montgomery Alabama. The title you can see a bit of in that drawing (by Lucia Clermont) says "Presenting." The entire yearbook "Whose Camera Eye Depicts Student Life at Sydney Lanier High in Montgomery…" and the yearbook illustations revolve around drawings of cameras, filmstrips, and photographers. Most illustratons are by Ms. Clermont, with cameras/film drawings by Betty Barnes; they were two of four "art staff" for the yearbook.
