Mrs Hall "Maggie Johnstone", a Newhaven fishwife, is depicted in HA419 and in HA631 and possibly with another woman in HA627. This is a close variant of Stevenson's Newhaven 14. This negative was not waxed but was retouched in ink. It is inscribed in pencil "U.69" and "D+" and "Gum".
