Registar page American Antiquarian Society The register for the first day of business of the daguerreotype firm of Simons & Collins in Philadelphia. Their first day saw twenty six people from Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia sit for their portraits, including noted deaf lithographer Albert Newsam. AAS holds two volumes of registers, for Simons & Collins 1845-1849, and the later firm of D.C. Collins & Co. in Philadelphia, 1849-1854.
