Signed Bisson Fils in ink. Rare early calotype, bearing the signature of Louis a. Bisson who will igned Bisson the elder when his young brother joined in the activity of photography after 1848 (cf. Les Frères Bisson Photographes, de flèche en cime, 1999). The only examples of calotype by the Bisson family, all from the collection of Honoré d'albert, Duc de Luynes.
