With estate stamp, signed in pencil by Peter Nerlinger and Griffelkunst edition text printed on the verso.
The artist Oskar Nerlinger was part of the circle around the gallery "Der Sturm" in Berlin in the early 1920s and in 1926 he was one of the founders of the group "Die Abstrakten". In 1928 Oskar Nerlinger developed the technique of making photograms with tissue paper and the images offered in this lot are a perfect example of this phase in his work. His photographs were included in the important 'Film und Foto' exhibition in Stuttgart in 1929.
