The cabaret and daredevil artist Kurt Kunau performed various feats over the roofs of Berlin involving keeping his balance at extreme heights. He rode a bike along the ledges of the Berliner Dom and in the image offered here he is seen dangling from a flagpole practicing for one of his performances.
