1928 was an important year in Albert Renger-Patzsch's career; his seminal book "Die Welt ist Schön" was published and through his editor, Carl Georg Heise, he received a commission to photograph the country residence of the Warburg family in Hamburg-Blankenese. This image is from a series of 68 images he took for the project
