Portrait of small child standing on a chair with one arm resting on a cloth covered table. She wears an off-the-shoulder dress with tartan pattern trim and gold buttons at waist, and a gold necklace (same dress seen in 1905.16242:090). Daughter of S.C. Hastings who founded the Hastings Law School in San Francisco. Identified by Mackay as the same child pictured in 1905.16242:017.
