(Kent Thompson) An interior view of the Hall of History, precursor to the NC Museum of History, in the early 1900s. Some of these items can be seen on display these days, such as the Guilford Battle Flag, an early American flag, and some of those John White illustrations as well as other smaller items. The cases in the foreground were typical for the Hall which had exhibits closer to curio cabinets than thematic exhibits.
