Cover Silver Print Gallery and Archive This image of a bolt was used in numerous publications of the time to mark the modernist and progressive development of industry in Palestine, HaTa'assia, vol. 7 (November 1941). It was made at a time when it was forbidden to photograph the horizon of Tel-Aviv because of possible attacks by enemy aircraft.
