This record contains unverified, old data from caption card, with subsequent revisions. Title was formerly "Frances Densmore using wax cylinder phonograph to record Mountain Chief, a Blackfoot Indian," but American Folklife Center staff determined that the photo shows a playback horn on the cylinder recorder, so Mountain Chief and Densmore are listening rather than recording (12/2013).
